misc scripts
What each script and data file in misc/ does, what it reads and writes, and whether it is still relevant.
misc/ holds scripts written for one-off data fixes, investigations and earlier versions of the integrations. None of them run as part of the build or in production.
Several scripts write to live Shopify or Zoho data. Read a script fully before running it, and run it only with a clear reason and a backup plan.
Several JSON and CSV files are 2024 exports from Zoho. Treat everything in misc/ as containing personal information. Do not copy the files elsewhere or attach them to tickets.

Running a script
Scripts in misc/ are plain Node files run with node <path> from the folder the script expects, usually misc/. They need the environment variables listed in Environment variables, and some import JSON with import attributes, which needs a recent Node version.
Prefer the maintained scripts in the asc-api-src-zoho-integration repository for any new Zoho data work.
